MultiChoice SA Fort Hare Inkwenkwezi Trust, a mentorship programme, operates since 2007 in the Eastern Cape in association with the University of Fort Hare. The programme aims to improve grade 11 and 12 learners’ academic abilities and to enrich their life skills by involving senior students from the university as mentors.

Shado Twala is a multilateral media practitioner with over 15 years of experience as a print journalist, radio producer and presenter as well as a television producer and presenter.

With the years of experience in the media, her extensive media network inside and outside the borders of South Africa, Shado brings a wealth of knowledge in the development of communications strategies, designing implementation programmes of these on behalf of her clients as she serves as Client Services Director for African Projects.

Clarence Ford is the lunchtime show presenter for Heart 104.9FM. Born and bred in the Mother City, Clarence’s show is a mixed massala of truly Cape Town experiences that keeps you entertained.

He’s invaluable presenter and business experience over the years is what sets Clarence apart from other professional broadcasters.

Mentoring the Youth

Former Springbok captain Bobby was capped 34 times by his country, and is seen as a golden boy of SA rugby. He was schooled at Hilton College in Natal and was later selected as captain of the under-19 and under-21 teams for South Africa.

Bobby has also launched his own foundation called Bobsforgood. The bobsforgood foundation creates hope, fosters pride and ensures dignity by providing free school shoes to impoverished children.
